Victoire Auguste-Dormeuil is the Executive Director of the Alliance Française d’Atlanta. A native Parisian, she brings more than 20 years of experience spanning nonprofit leadership, finance, entrepreneurship, cultural programming, fundraising, and strategic partnerships. Throughout her career, she has built connections across corporate, governmental, nonprofit and international sectors to advance institutional growth and cross-cultural engagement.
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris, Victoire also holds a master’s degree in economics from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She began her career in London as an investment banker specializing in mergers and acquisitions with Smith Barney before entering the entertainment industry, where she worked with MTV and Fashion TV before opening her own music production company in Paris.
After relocating to Southern California in 2002, Victoire returned to finance, working with UBS Wealth Management and Merrill Lynch. She later served as Business Operations Manager for an industrial manufacturing firm, overseeing financial and administrative functions. Eventually, she established a consulting practice, advising entrepreneurs and small and medium-sized companies seeking to establish or expand business in the United States.
Most recently, as Director of Membership and Advancement at the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, Victoire grew membership and increased revenue while expanding philanthropic support and institutional partnerships. She optimized operations and worked closely with the board and leadership team to achieve long-term sustainability.
Deeply committed to strengthening connections between France and the United States, Victoire organized Bastille Day celebrations in Orange County and founded Frenchly Yours, a network she built to strengthen cultural and business ties between Southern California and France. She has served as a trustee of the World Affairs Council of Orange County. Appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to the District Export Council of Southern California, she has worked to advance international trade and global economic engagement.
Fluent in French and English and conversational in Russian, Victoire has traveled to more than 50 countries and is passionate about bringing people together across cultures. She is committed to expanding the Alliance Française d’Atlanta’s role as a vibrant center of French-language education, Francophone cultures, international dialogue, and community connection.
