The Alliance Française d’Atlanta and the Goethe-Zentrum Atlanta are the Kultur Ensemble Atlanta— Atlanta’s FRANCO-GERMAN CULTURAL INSTITUTE!

One of nine such centers worldwide, and the only one in the North America, the Franco-German Cultural Center will add to Atlanta’s increasing importance as an international capital.

With the shared new space, the Center capitalizes on synergies that come from representing two of Western Europe’s largest economies and most influential cultures that are deeply engaged in the local and southeastern regional business, education and outreach for culture, experiences and human connection.

Within proximity of various consulates, theaters, universities and other cultural assets, the Franco-German Cultural Center will be a large component of the global community that knits together Atlanta’s “international fabric”.

The newly remodeled Peachtree Center within the John Portmann landmark accentuates community accessibility, quality and beauty of the Centers’ programming. The location provides a venue for cultural, educational, and social events as the home to Atlanta’s two oldest providers of French and German, as well as for joint cultural programming of the Franco-German Center.

We look forward to seeing our teachers conducting classes, members playing pétanque on the patio, soccer fans joining a watch party in the auditorium, and event guests gathering for unique cultural events from wine to music, history to travel.
