Practice your French skills using several forms of communication and media!
This advanced B2 level course focuses on oral and written French with a particular focus on improving conversational skills. Students will use a variety of media—videos, news articles, and more — to discuss the latest news in the French-speaking world; gaining confidence in speaking and developing vocabulary and argumentative skills through projects such as posters, one-pagers and presentations on French regional topics. There is no book required.

Meet the teacher
Sophie De Fromont was born in Paris and moved to Lyon in the south east of France when she married her husband François. They moved to State College, PA in 2002 and Johns Creek; GA in 2017, where they are raising their 5 children. Sophie is passionate about teaching language and mentions a recent visit to Germany that gave her new insight on the challenges of adult language learning. Sophie is certified by the Alliance Française to teach French as a foreign language. She loves to craft: sewing, decorating, framing. She is passionate about History and French culture and enjoys sharing her passion with her students.
