Introducing a unique new class series!

Maître Gims, arguably the biggest current artist in the French-speaking world, is coming to Atlanta on November 1st!

From working with English-speaking artists Lil Wayne, Sting, French Montana, and Sia to French-speaking artists Dry, Vianney, Black M, Vitaa, and Slimane, his music plays on radios around the world.

Come prepare for his concert by learning more about this international superstar in a three-part series (for all levels) which uncovers the man behind the sunglasses. We will take a journey through his career, his personal life, and of course prepare you to sing along to his biggest hits at the concert. The concert’s opening act and international recording artist DPretty will also make a special guest appearance!

Samuel Vernhes is a focused, bilingual French-American educator. He is passionate about food, art, soccer, and music. He has experience teaching in academic settings and continues to tutor and teach French to children and adults at Alliance Française and Atlanta International School.
When teaching, Samuel incorporates his personal and professional experiences to enrich his student’s cultural and linguistic understanding. The growth and success of his students inspires him to continue to teach in the future and dream of potential pedagogical possibilities.

DPretty is an international recording artist from the Democratic Republic of the Congo in central Africa. Proud husband and father of two, his colorful culture, passion for music and social activism can be found in his lyrics. His dedication to his people is reflected in his non-profit organization, CGA (Congolese Genocide Awareness), which promotes awareness by engaging and mobilizing supporters who can advocate internationally as well as within the Congo. DPretty migrated to the United States 20 years ago and has developed an ear for innovative sounds that integrate his African origin along with modern American music. His musical style is described as Afrobeat with a mix of pop music.
