Getting married? Planning a honeymoon in France or a French-speaking country? This class is for engaged couples interested in learning French together and preparing for their new life. You will learn basic phrases that will help you in your travels and learn more about each other in the process.

Meet the teacher

Samuel Vernhes is the new Education Director of AFATL. Originally from Seattle, he moved to Georgia to pursue his graduate research in cultural memory studies and theology at Emory University. His work experience includes teaching in a variety of academic and religious contexts including churches, private schools, universities, and at the Alliance. He played soccer in college and is a passionate personal soccer trainer and coach. Samuel’s French-American roots ground him in a deep love of culture and discovery.
