Wellness Practices and the French joie de vivre !

Paris native, IAYT-certified yoga therapist Elisabeth Perucca leads a 4-class series, that explores tools you can use to reach a higher level of wellness. Elisabeth reaches beyond the negative aspects of the pandemic to show how our experience can make us more vital and well, helping us strengthen our immune system as we work through these uncertain times.

Meet the teacher

Elisabeth Perucca: I am a Paris native, and French is my first language. I learned English at 10, when I lived in the UK for three years, as my father was assigned to work in the oil offshore industry. Back in Paris, I studied to be an English/French translator and an actress. In the end, I took none of these routes. For 27 years, I was a corporate journalist. I wrote contents for intranets, magazines, brochures and websites in the entertainment, technology, airline and consumer goods industries. In the midst of this, I moved from Paris to Atlanta. One day, I decided to turn my professional life around. I had studied yoga therapy—one of my passions—, for eight years, while working as a writer. I became a certified yoga therapist in 2013, and have taught therapeutic yoga to help people heal, ever since. I recently started teaching French. A good friend who worked at Alliance Française d’Atlanta encouraged me to train online and here I am! To me, there is nothing more important than human connection. What I love the most about teaching is to get to know my students, to find what makes them tick. I also love to see them progress
