DESCRIPTION:ABOUT THE EVENT\nOrganized by the French Film Festival Atlanta in partnership with the Alliance Française Atlanta\, get ready to be part of the French Film Festival Atlanta’s Children’s Jury! \nKids ages 10-12 are invited to watch and judge a selection of short Francophone films\, each filled with creativity\, fun\, and powerful stories (movies are in French with English Subtitles). \nAs a jury member\, you’ll use your fresh perspective to choose the film that deserves the Children’s Award. Whether it’s a funny animation\, an exciting adventure\, or a touching tale\, your opinion counts. This is a unique chance to help pick the best short film for kids and celebrate Francophone cinema. \nThe movie receiving the Children Award will be screened at the French Film Festival ATL on April 5th\, 2025 at the Tara Theater. For more details about the Festival\, click HERE. \nBefore the screenings enjoy complementary Lesser Evil Himalayan Gold popcorn (vegan\, GF\, movie theater butter-like flavor!). \nGrab your popcorn and join the fun! \nCOST: FREE! CLICK HERE TO REGISTER!\nMANDATORY\n– Each children must be accompanied by a responsible adult guardian (more than 21 years old) or a parent. \n– No more than 2 children per adult. \n– Guardians and parents must stay physically present for the duration of the event. Grab some snacks and refreshments in the kitchen. \n10:45am : In the Alliance Française ATL’s auditorium\, we’ll explain how we’ll proceed to judge each movie. We’ll start screening the pre-selected short movies (about 6 of them at this time) and chat in between each of them. \n12pm : You’ll vote for the Best Children Movie Award!
