This 8 hour-workshop will be an introduction to pencil drawing in French.

There are several elements essential to create a good drawing, such as the line, the shading, the source of the light, the volume, the perspective (1 point or 2 points). These elements will be discussed mostly in French and worked on throughout this lively workshop geared for all levels of experience, from first-timers to experienced artists looking for a classroom-style brush-up.

If there is a small object that you would like to draw, please bring it. The teacher will provide a list of material to bring at the workshop.

Vera Nercessian studied Art and Design in Ecole Camondo (Paris). She speaks four languages fluently. Vera has worked in Design firms and Landscape Architectural firms overseas and owned her own Landscape designing business. She has been teaching French at Middle Schools and High Schools for more than 15 years. She is also an artist in drawing of landscapes and portraits. Vera has served as an elected board member on the Parish Council of her Church as treasurer and counselor. She lives in Peachtree Corners with her husband and 3 children.
